SCSI Bits

Today (Sep 20, 2013) some SCSI bits arrived from good old eBay (pictured above).

I got eight SCSI terminators - part number 005-033334, revision 0, model number E123634, and five ‘SCSI buffers’ - part number 118-010262, revision 4.

The terminators are really just standard Amphenol parts which have been ‘badge-engineered’ by DG but it’s nice to have these DG-supplied ones rather than sticking any old generic terminator on the peripherals.

According to some of the documentation I have seen the buffers are required between certain peripheral units (eg. PHUs) and certain MV/Family machines - in particular the L-Bus ones like the MV/2000 and my MV/2500.
